Q: What’s your approach to beauty?

A: To have fun with it. I just want to play with pretty things and experiment and feel like the best version of myself.

Q: What’s your relationship with make-up been like over the years, and how has it evolved?

A: I bloody love make-up. I have a face for make-up and I think I’m just more confident now in knowing what I like and don’t like. When I’m not working, I don’t wear make-up and I love that. But then I also love getting dressed up and taking the time to make myself look glam.

Q: Tell us about your ambassadorship with MCoBeauty. What’s it all about and why did you want to be a part of it?

A: I’ve used MCoBeauty products for years – I’m obsessed with its XtendLash Lengthening Tubular Mascara, $17 at McOBeauty – so when CEO Shelley Sullivan asked me to be an ambassador, it was a no-brainer. I love that MCoBeauty products are super affordable. You can buy them at the supermarket and they’re a fraction of the price of all the expensive luxury brands, but the quality is just as good.

Q: Talk us through your beauty routine.

A: I always use Eco Tan Glory Oil, $49.95 at Adore Beauty morning and night, and Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme+Night Intensive Restorative Crème, $142 at Estee Lauder. In the day, I apply Go-To Zincredible SPF15 Tinted Daily Moisturiser, $45, at Mecca and I always use MCoBeauty Magic Brows Brush-On Tinted Fibre Eyebrow Gel, $18 at MCoBeauty – it sorts out my eyebrows and makes them sit straight up. I drown myself in Tom Ford Lost Cherry EDP, $480 at Myer and put my hair on top of my head, because I’m in a constant fight with my hair.

Q: Is there a “beauty rule” you’d like to see broken once and for all?

A: I hate the concept of “anti-ageing”. Why would anyone be against ageing? Getting older is a blessing and it should be celebrated.

Q: When do you feel most confident in your own beauty?

A: When I’m at home, relaxing with my family and friends. But I won’t lie, when I’m on set at a photo shoot and I’ve had a hair and make-up team spend hours making me look glam, I feel pretty bloody fantastic, too.

Q: What’s the best piece of advice or best trick you’ve learnt about make-up?

A: To always wear tubular mascara when I’m going to the beach! That sh*t will not come off in the water, I promise you.
